We checked out the LEANDRO ERLIGHT exhibition over at Mori Art Museum in Roppoingi. Mori Art Museum occasionally hosts "Family Hour" at certain exhibitions where families with small children are invited to view shows before normal hours. We took advantage of the "Family Hour" and headed over to the museum at 9:30am!
This exhibition which consisted of installations pieces which were interactive with elements of surprise and play was a perfect museum experience for kids. What a fun way to immerse ourselves and art and to be inspired to look at our world from a different point of view! "An Argentinian contemporary artist of global repute, Leandro Erlich is perhaps best known in Japan as the creator of The Swimming Pool, a permanent installation at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. Erlich’s works employ optical illusions and sound effects to shake up our notions of common sense. " Excerpt from https://www.mori.art.museum/en/exhibitions/LeandroErlich2017/
