VOL.6 PLAYING WITH SYMMETRY - Creating Fold-Over Art

Thank you for joining our last workshop! The idea of fold-over art was very simple, but the children's reaction to our demonstration was one of much surprise and awe! Every child from 1yo to 6yo got so into the process and kept making one after another. The result was diverse, beautiful and very symmetrical!

LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE YOKOHAMA is a monthly art workshop for English speaking children. In each workshop, we will have a theme and introduce artists, vocabulary, and methods. Some of our workshops will be held outdoors, in parks and public spaces, to create art in nature or performance based art. Other times we will meet indoors to create large scale group painting, cardboard sculptures etc. Children will learn to work together, communicate, share, clean up after themselves and encounter moments of focus and discover love for art.
