This month we made an all white art installation inspired by a winter landscape. We had three craft stations, paper snowflake station, clay molding station, yarn ball station, and in the center some of the older kids helped with draping fabric to create the center piece. Every child participated and contributed to the finished piece and enjoyed sitting in the piece admiring the work! Everybody came dressed in white which was a beautiful added effect! We also had an amazing pot luck party!
LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE YOKOHAMA is a monthly art workshop for English speaking children. In each workshop, we will have a theme and introduce artists, vocabulary, and methods. Some of our workshops will be held outdoors, in parks and public spaces, to create art in nature or performance based art. Other times we will meet indoors to create large scale group painting, cardboard sculptures etc. Children will learn to work together, communicate, share, clean up after themselves and encounter moments of focus and discover love for art.
