LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE is driven to help raise the next generation of creative thinking and global-minded children.

LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE is committed to a process-oriented approach where the creative journey is valued over the end product. We explore a great variety of mediums and methods, artists from around the world and across history to discover that artistic expressions has no limit.

LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE empowers children to develop strong self identity, a understanding of one’s own’s culture/s, and an open mind which accepts differences in others. We are driven to raise awareness and appreciation of the diverse and rich cultures of the world through art education.

LUMICO HARMONY

Born in Japan, married to a Finn, and has lived in Brazil, Yokohama and places in-between. Worked as producer and promoter for children's books and characters. Began working full-time as an artist after giving birth to her three children. She created illustrations for Sasakawa Foundation events, 2016 Family Festival, and "Kids Award". Organizer of several workshops for children, such as palm art, handmade guitars, pop-up cards, moss ball bonsai, pinata, Nordic himmeli straw decorations. Also works as a kindergarten art director, and Vice president of NPO The Global Families. Illustrator of picture book "Bouncing Apple". Recipient of 2016 POWER MAMA AWARD. Started EDU-JOURNEY in 2017, exploring education systems around the world.

MIOKO MOCHIZUKI

Mioko Mochizuki is a multi faceted artist & designer with fine arts background and a career in apparel design and costume design. Mioko was born in Yokohama and grew up in the US, Holland, and Hong Kong. From early childhood Mioko was passionate about art and her interest in movement studies led her to costume. She studied fashion design at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and moved to New York City in 2002. Alongside working as a fashion designer, she created costumes for NY based Butoh company for 8 years. Her costumes for the play “Art of Memory” was nominated for NY INNOVATIVE THEATER AWARD’s Best Costume in 2009. Mioko moved back to Japan in 2012 with her American husband and has two daughters. She founded the children’s costume brand DRESS UP BOX and LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE in 2016.

AIMEE ISOBE

Aimee Isobe was born in Tokyo, Japan.  She has gained professional experience in entertainment and art industry. At an early age, she appeared in many musical productions as an actress.  At the age of 14, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii.  After graduating high school in Hawaii, she moved to New York City to pursue a degree in fine art. After she earned her BFA at American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she shifted her career path toward art industry.  In 2013, Aimee became an Asia based art dealer for MoMA PS1.  In 2017, after she gave birth to her son, Aimee and her husband/floral artist Akiva Zama found a floral art company, Hanatombo, where they let their passion in art become a professional endeavor. Aimee is also known as a singer and a radio DJ (interFM.)

Monica SOMEYA

Born to a Japanese and Perfuvian parents and raised in the US, Monica grew up trilingual. She has visited more than 15 countries around the world. Her expertise is in international marketing and sales. She has worked on photo sharing platform and international film festivals as a project manager.

AKIKO WATSON

Born in Tokyo and raised in Yokohama, Akiko grew up loving art. She encountered Black culture and fashion in her teens and was deeply influenced. She later became a buyer in the fashion industry and brushed up her senses while working with various domestic and oversees brands. She is a people’s person and loves connecting people, connecting people and things that sparks creativity. She has roots in Okinawa and loves Salsa and Latin cutures as well. Akiko is married to an American husband and is a mom of a sweet boy.

ATSUKO ZAMA

Atsuko has been working as a fashion press for 20 years. After graduating College, she worked for oversees brand importing and buying for 5 years. In 2008 she helped the Japanese launch of a major casual brand and worked as a PR director for 10 years. She has experience in Womens, Mens & Kids fashion, Scandinavian designs, sustainable designs and in TV PR. After giving birth to her daughter she has been working as a freelancer and expanding her expertise to include lifestyle industry and the art industry as well.
